Philanthropy 2010

Amy’s Treat LogoAt the 2009 annual meeting, in conjunction with Kappa Delta Phi Fraternity Alumni Association, the National Alumnae Association adopted Amy’s Treat as the 2010 philanthropy project. Amy’s Treat is an organization similar to Make-a-Wish. The organization provides patients living with the day-to-day difficulties of cancer with an unexpected “treat”. What makes Amy’s Treat special is that they are supported by an all volunteer staff. To read more about Amy’s Treat we encourage you to visit their website by clicking on the highlighted name.

To support this philanthropy we are asking individuals and alumnae groups to simply raise funds. You can complete a coin collection, gather some friends and do a walk-a-thon or even develop a raffle to offer to friends and family. With your experience as an active sister, the National Alumnae Association is confident you can devise some creative ways to contribute to this worthy cause.

For more information regarding the Philanthropy 2010 Project, please contact Susan Dyer Taylor.

Lifetime Membership Option

Tired of paying yearly dues? The National Alumnae Association has a solution for you! The National Alumnae Association has adopted a Lifetime Membership plan. Lifetime Membership dues are set for the 2010 year at $250. If you have already paid your 2010 dues, just pay the difference and your earlier payment will be counted toward the Lifetime Membership. These funds will be utilized to finance the efforts of the National Alumnae Association, now and in the future.

For more information regarding the Lifetime Membership Option, please contact Jeannette M. Collette.
