Lemonade! Get Your Lemonade!

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation

On Saturday May 1, 2010 from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, at the SUNY New Paltz’s Student Associations Carnival in the Old Main Quad, Kappa Alpha Gamma Chapter will spend the afternoon selling lemonade by hosting an Alex’s Lemonade Stand.

Their goal is to raise at least $500 to donate to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer, a 501(c)3 public charity, to fund childhood cancer research projects. The mission of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation is to raise funds and awareness of childhood cancer causes, primarily to support research into new cures and treatments; to encourage and educate others, especially children, to raise money for childhood cancer by holding their own lemonade stands; and to expedite the process of finding new cures and bringing them to children with cancer now.

Please help support their efforts and this critically important cause by making a contribution or visiting their stand. You can make your donation online by visiting their Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation Fundraising page here.
