National Philanthropy 2009 - 2010: The SAMFund
The SAMFund is a unique non-profit organization created to assist young adult survivors of cancer with a successful transition into their post-treatment life, by providing financial support through the distribution of grants and scholarships.

ΚΔΦNAS Giving Back to the Community
Philanthropy is the cornerstone of our Sorority. Philanthropic events should take place often as you improve your campus and your community. For information regarding upcoming events or opportunities, contact the sources listed below:
- Contact your school’s Office of Student Activities or Volunteer Services Coordinator.
- Contact your local Chamber of Commerce or United Way
- Look under “Social Service” or “Government Programs” in the phone book
- Contact local churches, synagogues, schools, nursing homes or civic groups
- Contact local government offices and ask about volunteer opportunities
- Contact your Field Consultant or Alumnae Adviser
- Create your own project
- Do a search on the Web for ideas
